Cantesi L. Tiggs is a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and the chair of the Firm’s Construction and Design Practice Group. Ms. Tiggs has over twenty years’ experience representing landlords, tenants, owners and operators in a wide range of real estate matters related to leasing (retail, office and industrial), construction and design, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.
In addition to her real estate and construction experience, Ms. Tiggs has general transactional experience negotiating third party logistics agreements and master service agreements for various corporate service functions, including property management services, food and vendor services, mail and copy services, guard and security services and electric generation services.
Ms. Tiggs regularly counsels senior level management on day to day operational issues, cost saving measures and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Kane Kessler P.C., Ms. Tiggs was Vice President – Legal at Realogy Holdings Corp. in Madison, New Jersey, and prior to Realogy, Ms. Tiggs worked in New York as an attorney with a concentration in real estate and construction law.

million square feet of office and retail space nationwide - Advised senior management and handled legal work in connection
with acquisitions and dispositions of real estate, including the
acquisition of the Fortune 500 company’s LEED Gold 270,000 sf
headquarters and the simultaneous disposition of the company’s
377,000 sf headquarters - Negotiation of multiple multi-million dollar disbursement agreements
in connection with premises construction and expansion - Negotiation and closing related to the purchase and sale of limited
liability company interests to effect the transfer of a portion of the
ownership interest in real property
