Jaclyn Ruocco and Joseph Tangredi of Kane Kessler, P.C.’s Labor and Employment Law Department, conducted three Town Hall’s for over 250 participants during the weeks of April 27th and May 4th analyzing and explaining the multitude of legal developments in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Town Hall specifically reviewed the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act, New York’s Emergency Paid Sick Leave, the CARES Act, and guidance released by the federal and state agencies regarding discrimination, reasonable accommodations, and safety measures that employers can implement in the workplace.
