Arthur M. Rosenberg is a litigation partner who regularly handles cases in state and federal court in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Rosenberg represents clients in a broad spectrum of complex legal and business issues involving real estate and construction, contracts and other commercial matters. He also represents clients in the defense of products liability, medical malpractice and professional liability claims and has successfully defended corporate clients in class action suits and in investigations conducted by the United States Department of Justice concerning the federal False Claims Act (FCA) and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Mr. Rosenberg’s wide range of clients include consumer product manufacturers, defense and military contractors, law enforcement equipment manufacturers, hospitals, health care facilities and physicians, pharmaceutical manufacturers, builders, condominium and cooperative boards, restaurants, hotels, insurance companies, and individuals.
Mr. Rosenberg also chairs the Firm’s Matrimonial Practice Group. His cases involve the resolution of family law matters for high net worth individuals in the areas of divorce, equitable distribution, custody and visitation, child support and spousal maintenance. He also regularly prepares separation, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
In addition, Mr. Rosenberg serves as outside litigation general counsel for a large group of New York City medical and health care facilities where he manages and coordinates their active medical malpractice docket. In that role, he also provides advice regarding risk management, insurance and HIPAA-related issues.
Mr. Rosenberg, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, joined Kane Kessler in 1990 and has been a partner since 1993.
Mr. Rosenberg has been a lecturer at New York University’s Institute of Paralegal Studies and at the Continuing Legal Education Program of the Fordham University School of Law.
Mr. Rosenberg has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers – New York Metro Edition for the years 2021-2023.
