Practice Areas

Seamus McDonough is an associate in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Seamus represents clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of residential and commercial properties and financing and leasing transactions.

Seamus represents purchasers and sellers of residential and commercial properties from due diligence through closing, including the negotiation and drafting of complex residential contracts and represents borrowers and lenders in commercial financing transactions. Seamus also has broad experience in cooperative and condominium law and has counseled sponsors, cooperative and condominium boards and unit owners, advising both unit owners and boards through disputes and by facilitating cooperative apartment sales in the role as transfer agent.

Prior to joining the Firm, Seamus worked at a boutique firm with a focus on real estate transactions.

During his time in law school, Seamus was exposed to various business issues while working in a commercial litigation firm, a NASDAQ-listed private equity firm and the in-house department of a fortune 500 company. This experience led Seamus to pursue a practice where he could help his clients avoid later issues through careful planning, negotiation and drafting. Seamus was a member of the Pace International Law Review where he served as Promotions Editor.
