Jack Meara is an associate in the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Mr. Meara has significant experience representing public and private companies, shareholders and other clients with respect to proxy campaigns, SEC reporting, securities law and corporate governance.
Mr. Meara is a graduate of Fordham University and the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Prior to joining Kane Kessler, Mr. Meara worked at another leading New York City law firm performing corporate and securities work, with a concentration in shareholder activism matters. During law school, Mr. Meara worked in various internships in Entertainment, Employment, Municipal and Corporate law, and graduated with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Meara was also the Business & Alumni Director for the Journal of International Business and Law.
