Brian Polivy is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. He represents and counsels management on all aspects of labor and employment law. His practice focuses primarily on traditional labor matters including labor arbitrations, and collective bargaining.
Prior to joining Kane Kessler, Brian served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment division of the New York City Law Department. In that role, Brian defended the City of New York and its agencies in complex labor and employment matters in both federal and state court. Brian has also served as the Associate General Counsel for the NBA Coaches Association.
Brian graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a staff editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. He also served as President of Cardozo’s Labor and Employment Law Society and received the NYSBA Samuel M. Kaynard Award for outstanding dedication to the field of labor law.
