Anna Avruchevsky is an associate in the Firm’s Real Estate and Construction and Design Practice Groups. Anna represents clients in real estate transactions, including complex contract drafting for residential and commercial purchasers and sellers and the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases.

Anna also represents cooperative and condominium boards, shareholders, and unit-owners providing general counsel advisement on day-to-day operations, focusing on risk assessment and liability analysis so as to provide her clients with a clear path to continued success.

Serving as outside counsel to cooperatives and condominiums, Anna assists her clients with matters ranging from quality-of-life complaints to refinances and major capital improvement projects. Her representation extends to New York City façade rehabilitation work, lobby renovations and elevator modernization. Further, Anna is well-versed in specialized contracts such as AIA contracts with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Her expertise facilitates the successful preparation and negotiation of property management, access and license agreements.

While in law school, Anna served as a mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she honed her ability as an ardent negotiator in representing her client’s interests and goals. It is this experience that has provided Anna with a unique perspective which allows her to assist her clients in overcoming a dispute without escalation to protracted litigation.
