ASSOCIATE
Michael J. Romer is an associate in the firm’s Real
Estate practice group. Mr. Romer’s practice focuses
on the representation of lending institutions engaged in secured
and unsecured financing activities pertaining to real estate.
Mr. Romer oversees the day to day operations of the firm’s
residential loan closing department and closes complex residential
and commercial loan transactions on a regular basis. In addition,
Mr. Romer is involved in all aspects of the firm’s residential
and commercial real estate practice. He represents clients
in the acquisition, financing, and sale of residential and
commercial properties. He also represents property owners
and prospective tenants with regard to the leasing of commercial
properties, including office and warehouse space, retail stores
and shopping centers
Mr. Romer joined the firm in the winter of 2005 with six
(6) years of experience representing clients, including numerous
lenders, in a wide array of residential and commercial transactions.
In addition, Mr. Romer has previously represented clients
in numerous landlord-tenant proceedings.
Mr. Romer graduated from St. John’s University (J.D.
1999) and Seton Hall University (B.S. 1996). He is admitted
to practice law in the State of New York as well as the United
States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts
of New York and is a member of the American Bar Association,
New York State Bar Association and Rockland County Bar Association.
