ASSOCIATE
Gillian Overland is an associate in the firm’s litigation
practice group. Ms. Overland is involved in civil litigation
including, trial, appeals, discovery matters and motion practice.
With an emphasis on commercial litigation, Ms. Overland handles
matters ranging from copyright and trademark claims, invasion
of privacy, defamation, distributorship and sales representative
agreements, discrimination and sexual harassment, commercial
contracts and other business related matters.
Ms. Overland is a graduate of McGill University (B.A. 1998)
and of Boston College Law School (J.D. 2001). Ms. Overland
is admitted to practice in the States of New York, New Jersey
and Massachusetts as well as the United States District Courts
for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Ms. Overland is a member of the New York County and New York
State Bar Associations as well as the American Bar Association.
She is fluent in French and speaks Hebrew, Italian and Yiddish.
